Direct and assist Stewards to enhance efficiency in cleanup; ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented; assist with banquet plate-ups; support cooks and kitchen staff; provide items to cooks; transport and maintain banquet/buffet stock; return cleaned items to proper locations; operate and maintain cleaning equipment (dishwasher, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing, trash compactor); assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff; uphold safety/security policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; welcome guests and anticipate service needs; communicate clearly; foster positive relationships; uphold quality standards; perform duties requiring physical stamina (lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, etc.); perform other duties as assigned.
