Job Summary

Manage pilots and respond to issues under the supervision of the Vice President of Flight Operations; supervise day-to-day operations of the pilot group, maintain base pilot records, and serve as liaison with local regulatory agencies and union committees. Participate as an on-call management pilot after hours and travel as needed. Collaborate in base management meetings and coordinate with the Flight Department and other departments. Maintain currency as a Line Pilot or in the Line Observation Program and participate in Emergency Response Go-Team activities. Requires an Associate degree in a technical/aviation field, 2–3 years of Part 121/135 operational experience, an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, and MS Office proficiency; strong writing, communication, organizational, and management skills; must pass a comprehensive background check and TSA/federal requirements. Hybrid work may be possible; primarily on-site at the corporate office with occasional travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical or aviation-related field
  • Two to three years operational experience with a Part 121 air carrier and 135 experience
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
  • Technical skills in the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and meet TSA/federal contract qualification standards
