Job Summary
Manage all aspects of hospital financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, audits, tax reporting, and financial planning while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee financial performance across service lines and departments, evaluate utilization metrics, and support the CFO in developing strategies that align with operational objectives. Participate in monthly reviews and corporate meetings to present analyses, represent the Finance department in Board and medical staff meetings, and mentor staff to enhance analytical capabilities. This role serves as a financial leadership development pathway preparing candidates for future advancement to Chief Financial Officer within the network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Eight (8) plus years of direct experience
- 4-6 years of experience in closely related field
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage cross-functional relationships
- Ability to work effectively with others, delegate responsibilities, and independently manage tasks while meeting established deadlines
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- In depth knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms, healthcare software systems, and data analysis tools
