Job Summary
Assist Chief at JLL overseeing reliable, safe operation of mechanical and building systems across office facilities. Responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and controlling daily performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems; performing maintenance and repairs on chillers, boilers, HVAC units, pumps, piping, generators, and water treatment; responding to tenant service requests with strong customer service focus; executing preventive maintenance programs and documenting tasks; coordinating outside contractors and ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness; participating in emergency response and required technical training; serving as on-call engineer as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on HVAC experience
- At least four (4) years of experience in electrical and HVAC trades, including rooftop units
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting backup systems such as generators and UPS equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of building automation systems, water treatment, and fire/life safety systems
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call rotations as required
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications: CFC Certification
