Job Summary
Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer across Splendido, Splendido Mare, and Villa Beatrice. The role involves assisting in daily operations and maintenance tasks, conducting regular inspections of equipment and systems, supporting the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, maintaining records of maintenance activities and equipment performance, collaborating with other departments to address maintenance issues promptly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, supporting departmental administrative practices, and contributing to sustainability initiatives. Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, project management basics, and excellent communication/presentation skills are essential to help ensure smooth operation of the hotel facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Basic project management skills; ability to plan, execute, and evaluate sustainability initiatives effectively
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex concepts and influence decision-making
