Job Summary
Oversee site repairs for building interiors, exteriors, and grounds while supervising maintenance staff and assigning tasks. Manage work orders, coordinate with property vendors, and maintain records of scheduled procedures. Order supplies and parts as needed, ensuring all common areas remain clean and debris-free. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and address urgent situations within two hours. Provide professional written reports and recommendations to the Property Manager regarding maintenance needs. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday hours from 8:30 a. m. to 5:30 p. m., with occasional weekend or evening availability for emergencies. The position requires a valid Florida driver's license and experience in building trades or handy-work.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work
- Experience doing maintenance work in similar type of environment
- Experience in supervising team members
- Must have the ability to drive for work purposes in case there is a need for the property urgently
- A valid FL driver's license
- Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations within a two hour
- Must be available for emergency calls
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to provide professional written reports and make recommendations to the Property Manager and the Client on the maintenance needs of the property
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 30 pounds
