Job Summary
Manage the budget, capital expenditures, and preventative maintenance programs while ensuring safety, security, and asset protection across the physical plant. Supervise staff and contractors by distributing repair work orders, tracking completion timeliness, and planning maintenance schedules. Operate generators and fire pumps as necessary, providing emergency response services 24/7, and oversee equipment including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Train employees on safety procedures, conduct performance appraisals, and manage staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
- 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
