Job Summary
Support culinary management by maintaining consistent Wynn food quality standards, managing kitchen staff, and supervising production across all stations. Ensure compliance with government health regulations, industrial safety standards, and the Culinary Bargaining Agreement while identifying and rectifying potential safety issues. Lead the team by defining roles, monitoring performance, and mentoring staff through ongoing coaching and recognition. Prioritize inventory management, cost control, and food requisitions to enhance the overall customer experience. This role requires a minimum of three years of culinary management experience, basic Microsoft Office skills, and a valid Nevada health card. Knowledge of a union environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of culinary management experience in a similar role
- Basic computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Ability to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, including but not limited to the Food Manager Certification
- Valid Nevada health card
- Ability to direct and lead staff
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English fluently and in a professional manner
- Must exhibit accurate knife skills
- Ability to manage all aspects of the kitchen operation
- Ability to perform high quality job standards with attention to detail, creativity, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Clear thinking ability
- Ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgement
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through in order to meet deadlines and production schedules
- Ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to assist in all phases of the operation
