Job Summary
Manage kitchen production across Fry/Wok, Steamer, Baking, Soup, and Rice Roll stations by assisting the Head Chef with daily operations, staff rosters, and workflow execution. Oversee food quality, taste, and freshness through daily tastings and inventory checks, while handling food ordering, replenishment, and waste recording. Act as a floating team member to cover absent staff, support training and skill certification, and coordinate leave requests. Maintain sanitation, safety compliance, and station cleanliness throughout the shift. This role requires a minimum of one year as an Assistant Chef 2 or equivalent experience, along with ANSI-approved food safety training. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of high school education
- At least 1 year as an Assistant Chef 2 or equivalent experience in a similar industry
- Food Safety training from an ANSI-approved provider
- Food Handler Certification
- Proficiency in ordering systems
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of food safety
