Job Summary
Assistant Cheer Coach oversees and assists with cheerleading programs, coaching all levels of teams and classes across the season. Responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students (ages 4-15), supervising class check-ins, basic record-keeping, and supporting or leading sessions. Candidates should have cheer, dance, or gymnastics experience (not required but preferred), strong communication and organizational skills, reliability for 1–2 evenings of practices and some weekends for travel to competitions, and must pass a background check. Most coaches work 3-4 classes per day with occasional meetings, clinics, and cheer competitions. Champion Force Athletics is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Cheerleading coaching experience preferred but not required
- Ability to coach cheerleading, dance, or gymnastics
- Experience teaching children is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to dedicate 1 to 2 evenings for practices and some weekends for travel to competitions
- Background check clearance
