Job Summary
Support the Centre Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre, leading the team and maintaining the highest standards of dog welfare and hygiene. Coach staff on engagement and monitoring behaviour to implement support plans, while ensuring facilities, equipment, and fleet compliance meet safety and licensing requirements. Manage customer bookings and service delivery, assist with labour planning, payroll, and recruitment, and take full responsibility for the centre during the Manager's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about dog welfare and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- An experienced supervisor or team leader with the confidence to motivate and develop others
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills
- A confident communicator who enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and customers
- Commercially aware with an understanding of operational performance and labour management
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
- Flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach whenever needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role within animal care, hospitality, retail, leisure or another customer-focused environment
