Job Summary
Support the Center Director in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, enrollment, and curriculum planning. Mentor and guide Lead Teachers to enhance their professional growth while ensuring the effective implementation of the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®. Prioritize child safety and well-being by adhering to state and federal guidelines, and collaborate with staff to keep parents informed about progress. Address center challenges creatively to maintain a positive atmosphere. This role requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, extensive childcare leadership experience, and physical resilience for extended standing and lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in a childcare setting, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and empower staff
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and center management
- Be physically capable of performing essential job functions, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining alertness
