Job Summary
Assist the Center Director to manage daily operations of the preschool, lead by example for teachers, children, and families, and drive enrollment. Responsible for conducting tours for prospective families, following up with leads, maintaining enrollment records, supporting local marketing and community outreach, building relationships with local businesses and community partners, supporting social media and parent engagement, coordinating in-person and virtual tours, and ensuring center compliance with licensing and company standards. Also assists with staff coaching, classroom support to meet ratios, enrollment paperwork, and event planning. First six months heavilyFocused on enrollment growth; requires 1 year of childcare leadership experience, with 2+ years preferred, and Texas Child Care Director credential/license (or in progress). Requires strong customer service and communication skills, knowledge of licensing rules, and a background in early childhood education. Compensation: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year childcare center leadership or management experience required
- 2+ years center leadership or management preferred
- Daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience required
- Texas Child Care Director credential/license required or actively in progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas childcare licensing rules and minimum standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong follow-up skills and comfort speaking with prospective families
- Experience with enrollment, tours, marketing, or community outreach a plus
- Ability to lead with professionalism, patience, and a team-first attitude
