Job Summary
Support adolescents and young adults in a transitional living program by teaching daily living tasks, documenting skills and progress, and maintaining a safe, secure environment. Conduct room and perimeter searches, monitor participants' whereabouts, and transport youth to internships, jobs, and appointments. Develop individualized support plans, provide mentorship, and assist with conflict de-escalation while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Participate in team meetings and supervision sessions to monitor behavior and intervene when necessary. Maintain facility cleanliness and safety through regular checks and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-years' experience working with at-risk or court-involved adolescents
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with diverse populations or culturally responsive practices
- Demonstrated understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues
- Reliable transportation
