Assistant CAD Operator

Entry-level CAD Operator for GAI Consultants' Indiana Transportation Team. Responsibilities include using CAD software to open, revise, plot, and save CAD drawing files; producing full sets of construction plans (title sheets, detail sheets, layout, plan and profile, general plan, maintenance of traffic, cross-sections); learning to improve CAD standards; effective communication with the project team; collaborating in a CAD staff/engineer team; reviewing own work for QA/QC; basic 2-D line work and text edits; plotting and creating PDFs; following QA/QC procedures; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires an Associate Degree and 1+ years of experience; on-site in Fishers, IN; proficiency with AutoCAD or Bentley OpenRoads Designer and familiarity with construction drawings and Microsoft Office; ability to learn workflows and work both independently and in a team.
