Job Summary
Assist Buyer responsibilities in delivering category plans and supporting across a diverse product range. Help build and execute promotional plans, ensure pricing is accurate and competitive, and develop supplier relationships including negotiations for supplier funding to drive sales and margin. Play a hands-on role in analysing performance, identifying opportunities, and supporting range optimisation; manage key processes and maintain accurate data in a fast-moving retail environment. Requires experience in Buying/Assistant Buying, understanding of key KPIs (sales, margin, profit), and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables). Emphasis on being commercially curious, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a hybrid work setup.
