Job Summary
Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal business reports to analyze performance by category, program, style, and channel. Maintain accurate line plans, assortment sheets, buy files, and style-color-size information while entering purchase orders with precision. Track on-order inventory, receipts, and delivery status, proactively communicating delays or discrepancies. Partner with Planning and Allocation to monitor inventory levels and replenishment needs. Manage product samples and coordinate handoffs for buying meetings, e-commerce, and visual merchandising. Conduct competitive market research on product, pricing, promotions, and trends. Support seasonal milestone meetings, including line reviews and business hindsight presentations. Hybrid schedule (4x/week in office, 1 day remote). W2 candidates only.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, planning, allocation or a related function
- Strong understanding of retail math, including sales, margin, sell-through, inventory, markdowns and weeks of supply
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear findings and recommended actions
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently with limited direction
- Hybrid - 4x/week in office, 1 day remote
