Job Summary
Assistant Buyer Specialist responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods within assigned patch, supplier management, cost control, inventory coordination, and timely delivery. Key duties include developing and maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating supplier performance on quality, delivery, and price, drafting and managing purchase orders and contracts, monitoring budgets and cost-saving opportunities, coordinating with inventory and logistics teams to maintain stock levels, and tracking procurement metrics to inform strategy. Requires High School degree and 1+ year in procurement or supply chain, with familiarity in NetSuite and Adobe Illustrator; strong communication and organizational skills for cross-functional collaboration and meeting tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and inventory systems (NetSuite)
- Good communication skills for working with teams and external carriers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
