Job Summary

The Assistant Buyer - Kitchen & Bath is responsible for creating purchase orders, maintaining open to buy files, and coordinating the end-to-end sample process. Key duties include tracking orders, preparing reports and presentations, ensuring quality pre-ticketing and marketing accuracy, and contributing to merchandise planning. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, communication, and organizational skills, while being able to work independently and learn new systems quickly.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication, prioritization, collaboration, and organization skills required
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills required
  • Systems savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under general supervision required

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • One to three years of retail experience preferred
