Job Summary
Support and execute the buying process for the Tory Burch online business in North America by participating in assortment building during markets and identifying future product opportunities, trends, and class-level offerings. Assist the buyer in providing end-of-season hindsight through product, shape, color, and class analysis while managing weekly business reporting, shipping updates, and seasonal markdowns in SAP. Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Planning, Site Merchandising, and Digital Operations for delivery updates and sample tracking. Maintain complex spreadsheets and create visual aids for seasonal market presentations with accuracy. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, preferred, and one year of retail buying experience in a luxury or service-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year + of retail buying experience in a luxury or service driven environment
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred (business or fashion related discipline a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to build partnership with direct managers and cross functional partners
- Resourceful when problem solving
- Ability to pivot along with and anticipate changes in business needs
- Ability to prioritize and anticipate business needs and requests
- Ability to work well with partners
- Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
- Sharp eye for detail
- Strength in managing time alongside manager & team to meet deadlines
