Job Summary
Assistant Business Office Manager assists with daily financial operations of a skilled nursing facility, focusing on resident billing, private collections, Medicaid processing, and resident financial services. Responsible for monitoring aging accounts, coordinating payment plans, communicating billing and insurance details to residents and families, assisting with Medicaid applications, verifying insurance and payer sources, and supporting month-end billing and compliance activities. Requires healthcare billing experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive financial situations with confidentiality; shifts Monday–Friday, in-person in Dillon, MT.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in healthcare billing or skilled nursing facility billing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Medicaid application processes
- Detail-oriented and compliant with HIPAA and regulatory standards
