Job Summary
Assistant Business Manager role at Nichols Hills Pet Care Center (opening Sep 2026) combining hands-on clinical leadership with operational responsibility: deliver high-quality patient care (diagnostics, treatment support, surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring), assist with radiology/dentistry/lab work, educate pet parents, promote Fear Free, coach Veterinary Assistants/Technicians, support daily operations, lead on-site when the Business Manager is away, manage staff flow, monitor clinic metrics, coordinate staffing and workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment; development-focused path into operational leadership within a veterinary setting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Previous clinical leadership experience
- Strong technical skills in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
- Fear Free Certification is a plus
