Assistant Building Services Director

Develop and implement maintenance and environmental services policies while managing the total operation of the Physical Plant. Collect, prioritize, and assign maintenance requests; oversee construction, remodeling, and room turns in collaboration with the supervisor. Supervise the team by interviewing, hiring, training, and directing work; develop capital and annual budgets. Provide oversight for electrical, fire, and emergency systems; negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Conduct daily rounds for regulatory compliance, perform pre-occupancy inspections, and develop preventative maintenance programs. May receive after-hours emergency calls. Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings and serve on community committees as required.
