Job Summary
Support a Trucking broker by providing service after the sale to clients, collaborating with underwriters, and managing data entry in carrier portals. Responsibilities include quoting and activating Premium Finance Agreements, ordering inspections, handling change requests, requesting quotes from carriers, reviewing policy accuracy, completing Surplus Lines Tax Forms, and assisting with renewals. The role requires knowledge in transportation insurance, strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be licensed with at least three years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed
- At least three years related insurance experience and/or training
- Knowledge of transportation coverages such as Auto Liability, Auto Phys Damage, Motor Truck Cargo, Umbrella, Contingent Cargo, Contingent Liability
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Organization and attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Working knowledge of Image Right and IMS system
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with trucking and transportation insurance companies is preferred
