Job Summary
Manage the branch whenever the manager is absent, assisting in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability. Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping, and receiving while solving operational problems, including investigating customer complaints and inventory discrepancies. Schedule staff, analyze budgets and variances, and approve credit memos. Interview applicants, train associates, and implement human resources policies to maintain positive associate relations. Operate a company vehicle more than 20% of the week, requiring an acceptable MVR report. Requires a BS/BA and 5+ years of experience; minimum pay is $59,800.00.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle consistently more than 20% of the average work week
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
Desired Qualifications
- Wholesale distribution experience
- Exposure to Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Experience leading change initiatives
