Job Summary
Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates while managing the branch during the Branch Manager's absence. Assist in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability, and coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehousing per organizational policies. Solve branch-level problems, investigate customer complaints regarding damaged items or delivery delays, and make necessary resource adjustments. Manage operational issues, investigate inventory discrepancies, and adjust as required. Serve customers and support counter and inside sales functions, ensuring all sales orders are billed correctly and timely. Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances. This role requires operating a company or personal vehicle more than 20% of the week, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record report. Generally requires 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Generally has 5+ years of experience
- This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week
- A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products
- Spanish language proficiency
