Job Summary
Conduct daily operational excellence by supervising tellers, processing transactions, and managing branch controls including overdraft monitoring and wire transfers. Coach team members to deepen customer relationships through Client and Business Financial Reviews while acting as a backup to the personal banking team for account openings and loan requests. Ensure the branch meets operations standards, satisfies audits, and delivers proactive problem resolutions aligned with Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Manage mortgage loan applications for open-end transactions only and cross-sell services to grow sales.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's, Vocational, or Technical Degree in banking, business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of retail banking experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience
- 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience
- Customer service background in retail or banking
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting, knowledge-based relationships with clients and offering customized solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as handling difficult customer and associate conversations in a professional, transparent, and courteous manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient use of spreadsheets and other banking computer systems and related software
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and to perform repetitive movements for tasks such as counting cash, typing, and handling documents
- Ability to act as a Bank MLO for open-end transactions (i.e., home equity lines of credit) only
