Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day branch operations by supervising tellers, processing transactions, and managing technical tasks including wire transfers and collections. Coach team members to deepen customer relationships using Client and Business Financial Reviews while ensuring the branch meets operational standards and audit requirements. Act as a backup to the personal banking team for opening accounts and gathering credit information, and oversee open-end mortgage loan applications in alignment with Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Requires 2 years of retail banking experience and proficiency in banking software. Fully onsite at the Ponderay, ID location with a base wage of $20.00 to $26.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's, Vocational, or Technical Degree in banking, business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of retail banking experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience
- 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience
- Customer service background in retail or banking
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting, knowledge-based relationships with clients and offering customized solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as handling difficult customer and associate conversations in a professional, transparent, and courteous manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient use of spreadsheets and other banking computer systems and related software
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive movements for tasks such as counting cash, typing, and handling documents
- Ability to act as a Bank MLO for open-end transactions (home equity lines of credit) only
- Ability to register as an MLO complying with the SAFE Act requirements
