Job Summary
Manage daily branch operations and supervise tellers while processing transactions, opening accounts, and handling loan requests. Coach team members to deepen customer relationships and ensure the branch meets operational standards and audit requirements. Lead technical tasks including wire transfers, collections, and overdraft monitoring, acting as a backup to the personal banking team. Develop long-term consumer and business relationships by offering customized solutions and proactive problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's, Vocational, or Technical Degree in banking, business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of retail banking experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience
- 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience
- Customer service background in retail or banking
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting, knowledge-based relationships with clients and offering customized solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as handling difficult customer and associate conversations in a professional, transparent, and courteous manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient use of spreadsheets and other banking computer systems and related software
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and to perform repetitive movements for tasks such as counting cash, typing, and handling documents
