Job Summary
Bridge between frontline staff and senior management, leading sales, operations, stock control, and staff development. Drive sales, margins, and customer service across trade counter, telephone, and digital channels; manage quotations and liaise with external sales reps. Ensure stock accuracy, health & safety compliance, and adherence to the Branch Business Plan. Requires a practical, hands-on management style with strong people skills and experience in a trade environment. Works full-time with every second Saturday morning rota.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role, ideally within builders’ merchants, hardware, or a related trade environment.
