Job Summary
Assistant Branch Manager role in North County Cork, supporting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, driving branch sales, managing a small team, and ensuring excellent customer experience in a busy builder’s providers branch. Responsibilities include supporting sales and customer service, stock control and logistics, staff coaching, health & safety compliance, deputising for the Branch Manager, and building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Relevant experience in construction supply/building materials and a strong focus on service excellence and team leadership are required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a builder’s providers, construction supply, or DIY retail environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong product knowledge across building materials and related trades
- Commercially minded with a track record of driving sales growth
- Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
- Competent in Microsoft Office and POS/inventory systems
- Full, clean driving licence
