Job Summary
Assistant Branch Manager role responsible for leading sales and relationship growth at Nicolet National Bank branches, coaching Universal Bankers and Personal Bankers, managing daily sales rhythms, executing the branch business plan, and ensuring exceptional customer experience across in-person, phone, and digital channels. The role includes identifying opportunities to expand relationships, referring customers to internal specialists (mortgage, commercial banking, wealth), maintaining a personal book of business, supervising branch operations and risk/compliance controls, overseeing onboarding and coaching of UB I/II and PB I/II, and acting as branch manager in their absence. Emphasis on leadership, teamwork, customer service, risk management, and the delivery of a high‐quality, compliant banking experience within a community banking context.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail banking experience (3-5 years) with success in frontline roles (UB/PB)
- Experience opening consumer deposit accounts and delivering referrals across lines of business
- Ability to coach others on needs-based conversations and service excellence
- Customer-facing skills and ability to analyze activity/production dashboards
- Working knowledge of branch regulatory and risk requirements (BSA/AML, KYC/CIP, OFAC, Reg CC/E, privacy, information security)
- Proficiency with banking systems/CRM, branch platforms, and Microsoft Office
