Job Summary
Develop new and retain existing customer relationships by proactively identifying sales opportunities and leveraging the portfolio management process to achieve personal and branch goals. Manage the full sales cycle from pre-call planning and outreach to appointment preparation, interaction, and follow-up while profiling customers to identify financial needs across all product lines. Support branch operations by resolving complex service issues, taking ownership of escalated problems, and completing teller transactions as needed. Assist branch management in hiring, training, coaching staff, and writing performance appraisals, including supervising daily operations during the Branch Manager's absence. Ensure compliance with operational, security, and risk management policies, including KYC, fraud prevention, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Minimum of 4 years' proven retail sales, call center, customer service and/or telesales experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years' proven retail sales, call center, customer service and/or telesales experience
- Minimum of 1 year's supervisory and/or leadership experience
- Pertinent state Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated sales/business development experience and success
- Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent word processing, and spreadsheet software as well as email
- Ability to communicate and function professionally with all levels of personnel and business partners across the organization
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Prolonged use of hands and fingers
- Ability to lift light to heavy objects weighing 5 lbs. to 30 lbs.
- Ability to read fine print
- Ability to interact with customers in an open face-to-face work environment
- Responsibility for meeting and maintaining registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act
