Job Summary
Assistant Branch Manager in a retail banking environment responsible for assisting with branch management and the sales team. Duties include promoting the sales process through referral management and outbound calling, identifying customer financial needs, cross-selling bank products, leveraging digital tools, inputting and maintaining data quality for referrals and accounts, coordinating daily sales activity through coaching and huddles, handling branch operations (opening/closing, vault cash, supplies), performing teller transactions as needed, and ensuring compliance with policies and risk management programs. Strong emphasis on customer service, relationship development, and effective communication to drive qualified referrals and sales.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED required
- 2 years of job-related experience required
- Licensures/Certifications: Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) identifier preferred but may be required
- Knowledge of banking policies, consumer products and services
- Sales and customer service skills
- Proficiency with MS Word (basic), MS Excel (intermediate), MS PowerPoint (basic)
