Job Summary
Assist Branch Manager in the efficient and effective management of the branch. Ensure branch is open and ready to conduct business each day, coach and develop staff, support marketing campaigns, and drive branch business through sales and member service excellence. Responsibilities include knowing teller/operations/lending/account functions, ensuring compliance and audit readiness, training and performance management of staff, interpreting credit union policies, handling member complaints, ensuring adequate staff coverage, preparing monthly reports, ATM reconciliation, and facilities maintenance. Strong emphasis on customer service, staff leadership, policy interpretation, and use of Microsoft Office tools; travel to branch locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- some college preferred
- Credit union experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years related experience including sales and lending
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication
- Excellent customer service
- Sales motivated to build branch business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Numerical ability
- Able to travel to all branch locations
- Work Monday through Friday with 3 Saturdays per month
