Job Summary
Support the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales, margins and targets while delivering first-class service to customers. Responsibilities include driving the branch team to meet sales and promotional targets, managing branch running costs and stock control (including stock taking and adjustments), cash handling and management of specific customer accounts, and ensuring health and safety within the depot. The role emphasizes team leadership, effective communication, customer relationship management, and adherence to policies and procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience in the automotive industry and a track record of motivating teams to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred (Assistant Branch Manager or Motor Factor Parts Advisor)
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Experience with online and Windows-based cataloguing systems
- Ability to lead from the front and create a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sales focus with a can-do attitude
