Job Summary
Assistant Branch Manager will assist the Branch Manager with branch operations, coaching activities, and achieving growth and service quality goals. Responsibilities include coaching team members, overseeing branch operations and audits, maintaining professional branch atmosphere, developing relationships with customers (including those with complex banking needs), modeling relationship management activities, and ensuring adherence to security protocols and regulatory requirements. Highlights include identifying sales initiatives, cross-selling to deepen customer relationships, representing the bank in public relations/community affairs, supervising staff, using Microsoft Office and other technology platforms, resolving customer account discrepancies, and supporting a team-driven, flexible-hours environment.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of experience in a financial institution
- Excellent customer service skills utilized for internal and external customers
- Strong knowledge of banking regulatory matters and procedures for proper operation
- Ability to work well within a team, in shared roles, with flexible hours, including Saturday
