Job Summary
Lead the branch floor as the Branch Manager's partner, holding daily accountability for client experience, team coaching, and personal production. Model the advisory approach by listening, recommending, and following through on every interaction while tracking satisfaction metrics and resolving escalated concerns. Drive business growth by monitoring daily trends, supporting outbound strategies, and cultivating relationships with local businesses, schools, and civic organizations. Oversee operational integrity by managing cash controls, ensuring audit-ready standards, and maintaining full adherence to regulatory requirements like BSA/AML and CRA. Serve as the primary coach for Relationship Bankers and Banking Associates, providing real-time feedback, leading huddles, and onboarding new team members. Work across lending, deposits, and operations teams to ensure no client need is unmet.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of progressive financial services experience
- demonstrated performance record in a client-facing role
- at least some experience in team supervision
- experience in operations oversight
- acting management capacity
- Proven ability to hold a service and production standard across a team
- Working knowledge of retail banking regulatory requirements including BSA/AML, CRA, OFAC, and Regulation E
- experience maintaining a compliant branch environment
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- ability to give direct, specific, and useful feedback to colleagues at all levels
- Sound judgment under pressure

- NMLS registration
- availability for branch hours including weekends and evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- equivalent professional banking experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in a CDFI, MDI, or community banking environment
- understanding of mission-driven financial services
- understanding of the clients served
- Demonstrated record of developing frontline colleagues through coaching, recognition, and structured feedback
- measurable improvement in performance or readiness
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, or other languages that reflect the communities Carver serves
