Job Summary
Manage store operations, customer relations, and staff management by working with existing and new customers to generate revenue opportunities and execute sales plans. Handle COD accounts, log lost sales, review and report on sales numbers, and manage invoices and credits. Collaborate with salespeople to visit customers, ensure timely deliveries, and follow up with non-responsive clients while maintaining professional and courteous interactions. Requires 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, proficiency in AS400 or terminal services, and strong personnel management skills. Minimum wage is $21.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as professional counter person or assistant manager in the automotive industry
- Outstanding customer relations skills
- Strong skills and experience in personnel management
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated drive to achieve results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Clean/ valid driver's license
- Ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)
- Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc) where applicable in specific locations
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive parts
- Knowledge/ experience with AS400 and/ or terminal services
- Experience working on a PC
