Job Summary
Full-time Assistant Branch Manager Officer at Hanover Bank in Riverhead, NY. Leads branch sales and service, manages operations, coaches staff, and drives consumer and business deposit growth. Responsible for relationship-based sales, outbound prospecting, pipeline management, and community engagement, partnering with Retail Management and Business Development Officers to achieve branch growth and deposit expansion. Oversees branch functions, ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML), and maintains a high-performance, needs-based selling culture through staff coaching and performance management. Demonstrates ability to build and deepen client relationships, promote bank products, and collaborate across teams using COIs and community involvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of related banking experience
- Experience opening and managing business accounts and relationships preferred
- Strong knowledge of business banking and cash management services
