Job Summary
Oversee branch operations by opening and closing the facility, maintaining cash levels, and troubleshooting ATM issues. Coach bankers on service standards, conduct daily outbound calls to enhance customer relationships, and prepare performance appraisals. Mentor new hires through monthly certifications and written action plans to ensure proficiency. Facilitate meetings to disseminate operational updates and make sound decisions on complex transactions. Schedule staff for adequate coverage and maintain security devices and supplies. This role supports the Branch Manager in delivering the highest level of customer experience and goal attainment. Candidates must complete required background checks and acquire an NMLS Unique Identifier.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent retail operations
- At least three (3) years of customer service and sales experience
- Must have excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, organizational, customer service and sales skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Individual must be proficient with technology and Microsoft Office, specifically word and excel
- Must meet and follow all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of the required background checks and acquiring a Unique Identifier from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Must be able to travel independently to the position's primary work location, other bank properties and work-related activities or events at locations outside the Bank
- Must be able to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Must be able to independently operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer and software programs related to the position needed to complete the primary functions
- Must be able to sit or stand at a workspace and use a computer or other equipment for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to meet the work schedule requirements for physically working in the branch during normal business hours to effectively meet business needs
- Must be able to move office items weighing up to 35 pounds

- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent retail operations
- Supervisory experience preferred
