Job Summary
Support the Branch Manager with daily retail store operations, including sales growth, budgeting, safety compliance, and inventory management. Lead and mentor two or more employees in compliance, warehousing, and distribution while managing scheduling and performance reviews. Coordinate deliveries, align with customer needs, and monitor SAP reports for open orders and billing. Reconcile daily cash, manage branch credits, and assist with associate training on safety standards and operating procedures. Collaborate with outside sales to ensure accurate orders and efficient delivery schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or the equivalent
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- one to three years of experience in an industrial retail, inside sales, customer service and/or inventory control related position
- equivalent years of experience and successful completion of Airgas Branch Management Trainee program
- One year of prior supervisory and/or demonstrated leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Basic product knowledge of welding, safety, gases and hardgood supplies
- SAP or similar software system experience
- Intermediate skills operating a computer in Google Platform environment
