Job Summary
Assistant Boys Tennis Coach in the Iowa City Community School District. Responsibilities include developing athletes by teaching basic fundamentals and progressing to advanced skills, enforcing athletic policies, monitoring student-athlete academics per eligibility rules, providing adequate supervision before, during, and after practices and competitions, and supporting the health and well-being of student athletes. Requires CPR certification, willingness to work summers and weekends, and the ability to collaborate with other programs and administration. Reports to the Athletic Director; contract days determined by the season; salary/calendar year established by the Board of Education.
Required Qualifications
- Iowa Coaching Certification
- Coaching experience
- Experience working with junior high and/or high school youth
