Job Summary
Assist with all phases of the boys basketball program from elementary to varsity, under the direction of the head coach. Responsibilities include helping with summer camps and open gyms, coordinating scouting schedules, managing equipment and bus headcounts, coordinating summer leagues and clinics, attending post-game meetings, and turning in progress reports. The role requires facilitating in-season practices (minimum of three per week), supporting junior varsity and varsity coaches, and representing Marion High School and the basketball program professionally to students, staff, and the community. Must join I.B.C.A. and participate in rule meetings and ongoing basketball-related professional development. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with staff and oversee logistics for multiple levels of competition.
