Assistant Binder Operator

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime; read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic to isolate faults; perform preventative and corrective maintenance using a full range of hand/power tools and test equipment; collaborate with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures; document maintenance activities and recommend reliability improvements; assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of the Perfect Binder; inspect books for quality throughout the binding process; follow all safety procedures and protocols; interact with the Lead Binder Operator to facilitate daily schedules and meet quality requirements; operate on a 12-hour schedule with night shift premium and overtime potential; growth through paid training, cross-training across electrical/mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, and exposure to PLCs, plus advancement opportunities; location: Hartville, OH.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be dependable and able to work with others
- Able to follow instructions
- Proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders
