Job Summary
Assist Behavior Analyst Intern to provide hands-on ABA services for children and adolescents (ages 8-17) with intellectual and developmental disabilities exhibiting challenging behaviors under BCBA supervision. Performs functional behavioral assessments, develops and implements treatment programs, conducts preference/functional analyses and skill assessments, trains parents and staff, collects and analyzes data, and documents training progress. Works at the center, in clients’ homes, and in community settings with a caseload of 2-4; engages with a multi-disciplinary team and adheres to BACB Ethics and Texana policies. Requires high school diploma or GED, completion of BACB coursework toward BCaBA requirements, current enrollment toward BCBA-related coursework, and ability to obtain BCBA-supervised fieldwork hours; preferred current RBT credential. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two undergraduate college courses in applied behavior analysis meeting BACB BCaBA requirements
- Current enrollment in BACB coursework toward a degree meeting BCaBA requirements
- BACB supervision contract entry ability
- Supervised fieldwork hours completion under a BCBA supervisor
- Flexibility and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Time management and multi-tasking
- Background checks clearances
