Job Summary
Assist in coaching practices and games with a focus on catchers and outfielders, and participate in scouting and individual workouts. Monitor players' academic progress, perform academic checks, and arrange tutoring as needed. Ensure compliance with NCAA and conference rules, conduct off-campus recruiting and talent evaluations. Assist in scheduling, equipment orders, and coordinate with incoming athletes. Provide leadership and mentoring to promote positive attitudes and sportsmanship among student athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with coaching baseball
- Experience in field maintenance duties
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor student athletes
- Understanding of NCAA compliance regulations
