ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH

Job Summary
Assist Head Baseball Coach in coordinating a safe, enthusiastic, and competitive collegiate baseball program; provide direct instruction, supervision, and mentorship to NAIA student-athletes, supporting their athletic, academic, and personal development; manage recruitment, retention, and ongoing coaching in compliance with Bethany College, KCAC, and NAIA policies; collaborate with athletic and campus staff to ensure a positive student-athlete experience and uphold the college's mission; lead efforts in fundraising, travel planning, scheduling, and program administration; support academic success of student-athletes and community engagement; familiar with NCAA-affiliated structures and college athletics operations; requires Bachelor's degree and strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills; willingness to travel and commit to irregular hours as needed (evenings, weekends, holidays).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Highly motivated and works well independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
- Regular attendance
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to adapt to a changing technology environment
