Job Summary
Manage restaurant operations and supervise staff during peak meal periods, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and local alcohol laws. Assist in menu planning, open and close shifts, and handle guest complaints while maintaining budgeted goals. Provide feedback to employees, conduct on-going training, and address performance issues to improve guest satisfaction. Open and close restaurant shifts, ensure proper supplies and equipment are available, and communicate with the Chef and Restaurant Manager regarding food quality and service levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
