Job Summary
Assist Banquets Operations Manager by ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional event service across the property’s event operations; set up and execute events, maintain beverage costs within budget, manage mis-en-place and hygiene standards, and ensure compliance with liquor licensing guidelines and RSA principles. Build familiarity with VIP and regular guests to meet their requests, maintain inventory controls and cash handling procedures, and lead weekly cleaning schedules for function areas. Requires hospitality-management experience, up-to-date RSA certification, strong client-service focus, and a customer-focused, warm demeanor. This role operates within the Marriott International group, supporting banquet/events operations and guest satisfaction at Pier One Sydney Harbour.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience within a Managerial role in the Hospitality industry or similar role
- An up-to-date RSA
- Displays high grooming standards
